GM/VP of IoT Air Cargo, Descartes
Simon Gutschlag is the new GM/VP of IoT Air Cargo at Descartes, where he oversees the Internet of Things Air Cargo division of this global company.
Prior to this role Simon was with NZ King Salmon for over 12 years, starting as IT Manager and working his way up to managing the entire Importing division.
When global logistics tech company Descartes acquired Nelson-based CORE Transport Technologies in 2019, they acquired one of our region's quiet success stories: a hugely successful global player based out of Nelson.
They also got access to CORE's leading bluetooth-based cargo tracking tools and the strategic alliance of Core and Descartes has flourished ever since.
